Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher/Key Stage 1 Teacher.
Permanent. FTE: 1.0. TMS 1. ECTs are warmly welcomed to apply.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented teacher, who is passionate about learning, to join our small, committed, ambitious and friendly team from September 2024.

We can offer an Early Career Teacher an experienced induction tutor and mentor, the opportunity to practise, develop and refine your practice in a small classroom environment with the support of a full time Learning Support Assistant, professional development alongside recently qualified and experienced teachers both in school and in the locality, a warm, inclusive family atmosphere, polite and respectful pupils and supportive parents/carers.

The successful candidate should:

• Be (or have the skills and attributes to become) an exemplary classroom teacher.
• Have a sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum, particularly Early Years/KS1.
• Be willing to develop own practise to teach mixed age class in EYFS/KS1.
• Have a good understanding of effective assessment and use this knowledge to plan creative, appropriately pitched lessons, which support/challenge and motivate all learners.
• Have good organisational and communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team as well as with children and parents/carers.
• Understand the importance of effective LSA deployment in the classroom to support learning.
• Be someone who understands and will support the Christian ethos of our school.
• Aspire to lead a subject area across the school, and shadow an experienced member of staff to develop knowledge and understanding.
• Be willing to play a full part in the life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and attending school events.
