Resident Water Treatment Technician
We have a requirement for an experienced water treatment engineer to join an established site-based team as their specialist water treatment engineer. Located at a fantastic historic research and educational facility this is a great environment in which to work within in West London.
Your duties will encompass the daily and weekly testing of water systems in closed and open water systems, ensuring that they remain within statutory regulation specifications. These works will also encompass taking water samples, checking, and recording water temperatures, testing cooling towers with dip slides, adding biocides, automatic dosing systems, Flushing systems, cleaning water tanks etc. You would also be responsible for the upkeep of all site records relating to the water systems on site and to be able to Analise the results from the laboratory.
Engineers will need to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role and to have all recognised qualifications in this sector, including a minimum of L8 Legionella awareness, NVQ plumbing etc.
