The role is to effectively coach our clients through clear and concise explanations, demonstrations, cueing and instruction. The coach is expected to create an atmosphere that is safe, fun, informative and engaging, while helping members attain their fitness goals, improve their technique and move more efficiently..
Responsibilities
- Assisting with coaching group CrossFit classes. Manage flow, provide instruction and maintain safety.
- Leading and coaching group CrossFit kids and teens classes. Manage flow, provide instruction and maintain safety.
- Lead and coach 1-1 beginner programs and personal training clients.
- Handle member enquiries, lead consultations and provide information about our service offerings.
- Implement programs, projects, events and initiatives under direction of the General Manager.
- Signing new members, handling member enquiries and tracking attendance.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the facility.
- Retail responsibilities.
- A commitment to ongoing professional education and coaching as a profession and a lifestyle.
- Assist with marketing and social media duties.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- CrossFit coaching or personal training experience.
- Certifications preferred e.g. BWL, Personal Training qualification (or working towards).
- First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
