Job description

What you will do in your working day

• Prioritise work schedules in accordance with guest needs.
• React to requests to assess and repair, where possible, faults with all aspects of maintenance work at the Hotel effectively and efficiently. 
• Including but not limited to; HVAC, lighting, small power issues, plumbing problems.
• Undertake and record regular Planned Preventative Maintenance programme including monthly emergency lighting testing, tap/shower head descaling, lighting checks, temperature checks of water systems as specified in the site Water Risk Assessment, fire alarm testing, fire equipment checks, meter readings, running the generator, etc.
• Required to maintain effective communication with the team, provide accurate record-keeping and complete all relevant documentation including, inspection results, surveys, material requisition.

The training you will be getting

• L2 Property Maintenance Operative 
• Mansfiled Road, Eastwood, Nottingham, NG16 3SS
• 40 Hours per week 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

On completion of the Level 2 apprenticeship the apprentice will have the opportunity to embark onto a Level 3 apprenticeship to further their skills development through internal training programmes.
