We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Ballymena, Northern Ireland for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full or part time basis. Full time offers 4 days per week with a 1:7 full weekend rota. Midweek shifts are between 8.30am - 7pm and Saturdays 9am - 5pm and Sundays 9am - 12pm.

- Consultations: 15 Minutes
- Team: 7 Vets, 12 Nurses, 5 nonclinical team and a practice manager
- Salary Up to £65,000 per annum pro rata commensurate to experience
The role
- Permanent Veterinary Surgeon
- The role offers full or part time hours available.
- Full time offers a 4 day working week between 8.30am and 7pm and there is a 1:7 weekend rota comprising of Saturdays 9am - 5pm and Sundays 9am - 12pm.
- Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance.
- The position offers a mixture of cases including Orthopaedics, Dentals, Soft Tissue Surgery, Medicine and routine surgeries.
- Some sole charge work is involved
- The role will involve working across their two sites
- The Vet will be working alongside an experienced team with Vets who hold certificates in Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Surgery with other Vets currently studying towards certificates
- The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
- The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

- They have certificate holding surgeons within the practice and Vets studying towards certificates
- The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

- Ideally the Vet will have sole charge experience

- The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care and always willing to go that extra mile for patients
Package
- Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 7 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays increasing with service and birthday off
- CPD: £1,250 allowance per annum with 5 days pro rata
- Memberships: RCVS, VDS and BVA fees paid
