Salary: £22,816 - £24,336 per annum - aligned with AFC Band 3 Hours/Contract: Full time 37.5 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent Based: Marie Curie Newcastle Hospice Closing Date: 17thMarch 2024 Interview Date: 26th March 2024 Covering both in-patient and outpatient departments, the Therapy Assistant will help support patients with a variety of life limiting conditions and symptoms in order for them to gain as much independence as possible and / or reach achievable goals. What we are looking for: Formal technical qualification e.g., BTEC or NVQ3 in health care related subject. Previous experience of working with people in a healthcare role in a rehabilitation/ post-surgical setting. A compassionate approach where the care is based on the individual needs of people and their families.
