Design & Production Manager

Job description

We are looking for a Design & Production Manager to work directly with our creative team in our new east London studio/atelier to help us with the release of our new store, our new campaign and our upcoming LFW shows and Paris showrooms and new global stockists. 

What you will be managing:

• Production full overview archive and new collection and upcoming seasons
• Stockists liaison and advancement and manufacturing deadlines
• Manufacturing
• Liaising with factories
• Sourcing fabrics
• Final Tech Packs
• Final product technical drawimgs 
• Sampling 
• Sizing 
• Design research
• Design sketches
• Pattern cutting development 
• Toile Sampling
• Cutting and sewing toiles
• Tech Packs
• Showroom support
• Production
• Sourcing and developing fabrics
• Print development
• Working on special projects/commissions
• Assisting on fittings and photoshoots
• Assisting with show preparations for fashion week (if applicable)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a production manager within a fashion house
• Proven knowledge of tech packs
• Meticulous at technical drawings and illustrator / CAD
• Proven experience with mills / fabric sourcing
• Proven experience at wholesale and retail level
• Proven experience of sample to final product to store
• Technically minded with a good understanding of garment technology.
• Experience in a fashion house.
• Proven production role experience
• Ability to perform simple pattern-cutting adjustments
• Experienced in creating technical documents and line sheets
• Proficient in Excel
