Pittville School are seeking to recruit an ambitious and inspirational Food and Nutrition Subject Leader to join our forward-thinking and well-qualified team. Part time would be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic school where staff are highly valued. We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who can enthuse, engage, empower, and inspire staff and students.
The successful candidate will provide high quality leadership, line managing a full-time teacher and part-time technician and working to deliver consistently high-quality teaching and learning. They will oversee ongoing design and delivery of our ambitious KS3 curriculum which sits within the Design Technology rotation, alongside the development of our GCSE Food, Preparation and Nutrition KS4 provision. There are consistently high numbers of students opting to study at GCSE Food, Preparation and Nutrition at KS4. A specialist and highly equipped food technology room is adjoined by an ICT suite, both housed within the Design Technology and Art block.
An ability to work well in a team and demonstrate an innovative and inspirational approach to teaching and learning is essential.
