General Operator

Temporary - Permanent

Shrewsbury

£11.44

28 Hours per week (Monday-Thursday)

8.30am - 4.00pm (Half Hour for lunch)

We are currently seeking a general operator to join a reputable bespoke company in Shrewsbury on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The general operator is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the production process, handling various materials and operating machinery. This a great opportunity to work in a welcoming and friendly team manufacturing bespoke products for local businesses and clients online.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and assemble components to create high quality products.

Perform manual product finishing and item packaging.

Handle glass as part of the production process.

Check the quality and integrity of materials.

Data input and use of machinery.

Follow all safety guidelines, maintaining a clean working environment.

Requirements:

Basic Math Skills - GCSE grade C equivalent or higher.

Competency in Measuring, an understanding of unit's inches and mm.

Manual Dexterity

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
