TÜV SÜD America Inc., a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, has an immediate opening for a IT Project Manager. This is a hybrid role from our Wakefield, MA office.

Responsibilities:
- Fosters consistent and efficient delivery of projects by working closely with internal business partners and stakeholders and using company standards in processes and programs.
- Acts as a permanent liaison between technical and non-technical teams, both for TÜV SÜD internal departments (national and international) and suppliers, to ensure that project requirements, deliverables and milestones are clearly specified and adhered to throughout the project.
- Coordinates activities and tasks between project team members, other internal departments, and suppliers to achieve project objectives and ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and to the quality expected by TÜV SÜD.
- Regular on-site participation in meetings, to ensure good communication and to build and maintain relationships with team members, project stakeholders and managers.

- Develops the project schedule, defines work packages, deliverables, and milestones, considering any risks and measures to mitigate them.
- Develops and controls project budgets and presents them regularly using appropriate reporting formats. Reports on project progress to ensure projects are within budget and quality and reports deviations immediately to IT management and project sponsors, outlining possible solutions.
- Uses standard processes and clear and concise communication methods to share and ensure understanding of project plans, status, and issues with all stakeholders (including management and the project team)
- Understands and communicates roles and responsibilities (and expectations) with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key business and technical leads, continuously managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle and escalating to the appropriate parties when needed.
- Monitors and controls inputs and documentation which includes project (business, technical) requirements documents, project metrics, project schedule, risk management plans, resource plan, etc.
- Manages process compliance and provides input to incremental process improvements with the use of lessons learned and other project process tools.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology-related field and 4+ years demonstrated competency and hands-on experience in project management from inception to delivery, including all elements of scope, schedule, budget, risk evaluation, issue resolution, quality, integration, staffing, and communications.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent
- SDLC lifecycle experience across waterfall, Agile and hybrid methodologies.
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities (data analysis and problem solving) as well as presentation skills.
- Demonstrated use of project management practices and tools, including but not limited to MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, etc.
