SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher – Haywards Heath – June 2024

Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:

* Design and implement engaging and tailored lesson plans to meet the unique needs of students with special educational needs.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
* Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Provide ongoing assessment of students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
* Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.

Requirements needed to become a SEN Teacher:

* A passion for working with children with SEN and a genuine desire to make a difference in their life.
* Patience and adaptability to respond to varying students and changing classroom dynamics
* Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
* You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
* You will have relevant teaching qualifications (teaching degree with QTS or equivalent)
