Tax Senior

Banbury

Up to £45,000

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity with an esteemed firm who will support your professional and personal development?

Your Role as Tax Senior

Sitting within the tax and wealth-planning team, you will be providing high quality service to your own portfolio of personal tax clients. This is an excellent opportunity for development as you will have the opportunity to learn other areas of taxation, and support will be provided if you wish to pursue your CTA qualifications.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of personal tax returns and meet deadlines.
• Preparation of CGT calculations and 60-day returns
• Liaise with HMRC regarding compliance.
• Review tax returns created by junior team members and train them on various accounts and tax matters.
• Identify tax planning opportunities to raise with clients.
• Providing tax assistance to other departments as required.

What you'll need to succeed as Tax Senior

• ATT qualification
• Effective communication with clients and colleagues
• Strong computer literacy
• Knowledge of personal, business, and capital taxes
• Previous experience with cloud-based accounting software is desirable
