Job description
Hopetown Darlington, the region's newest visitor attraction, is a 7.5 acre site encompassing a railway museum, exhibitions, festivals, events, café and shop, a railway-themed adventure play park, time travel immersive experience ride, and the chance to view live engineering in action.
This ambitious project will attract upwards of 300,000 visits annually, of which up to 100,000 are expected to be from outside the region. Hopetown Darlington is seeking exceptional staff who can bring their ideas, energy, and enthusiasm to contribute to achieving the vision for the site.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Learning and Engagement Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality customer focused educational workshops within the busy Hopetown Darlington site.
The role will involve assisting the Learning and Access Officer in the development, preparation, and delivery of education sessions to school groups, and of informal learning activities to other groups, including children and families.
