George Browns is the UK’s largest Kubota Agriculture & Groundcare dealer, specialising in the Sales, Parts, Service Hire of many other leading Groundcare & Agricultural Machinery manufacturers. We’re looking for a dynamic, motivated & passionate person to become an Area Sales Manager at our Dunmow branch to grow Agricultural Sales across East London & East Essex.
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager (Agriculture), you will be based at our Branch in Dunmow (CM6 1XN) and will be required to promote the key machinery brands we have on offer to agricultural customers in your territory. The territory covered consists of Colchester, East Chelmsford, Braintree, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Clacton-on-Sea, Maldon, Witham and surrounding areas with key franchises of the following; Kubota full range of Tractors, Utility Vehicles, Farm Implements & Wheeled Loaders as well as Bomford Turner, Vicon, Fleming plus more. You will be required to visit all agricultural customers in your territory to understand their needs and promote both our business and yourself in a positive manner. You will need to manage the sales process from enquiry through to demonstration, quote, sale and delivery, with a requirement to perform to a sales target.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Build strong relationships with customers and represent the portfolio of brands to all potential customers within your territory
• Maintain up to date product knowledge of all our key brands
• Conduct demonstration of new and used machinery ensuring customers fully understand the products and their benefits to their needs.
• Quote machines accurately and effectively to the customer in-line with their needs
• Ensure products are delivered to the customer in-line with company and manufacturer guidelines
• Updating all databases and customer information accurately and managed with accordance to GDPR and other legalisation.
• Working closely with your sales manager, other area sales managers, parts department and service department to provide a seamless, market leading experience for the customer.
To be considered for this role candidates will require:
• Highly driven to succeed
• Ideally with experience within the agricultural industry
• Ideally with experience of sales and a track record of sales success
• Excellent Customer relationship skills
• Honesty and integrity
• Full UK Driver’s licence essential
Location: Field Based Covering East London & East Essex
Pay: £35,000-£40,000 OTE per Annum
