Health and Safety Officer (Hybrid) needed in Bromley, £14.52ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1139492

 

As part of the organisation’s hybrid working approach, the organisation have adopted a flexible approach to homeworking. This means the officer will be doing a mixture of on-site and homeworking. 

Corporate Health and Safety are responsible for providing health and safety advice to ensure the organisation’s compliance with health and safety legislation, developing and writing safety policies and procedures and reviewing reports sent to Corporate Health and Safety. Corporate Health and Safety meets with services and colleagues across the Client to provide health and safety perspectives and agree new procedures and arrangements.

Corporate Health and Safety are currently working on an ongoing project in regards to a premises relocation. We are looking for an officer to assist Corporate Health and Safety in undertaking their duties in relation to this project. This will include arranging and attending meetings, undertaking risk assessments, record keeping, and answering queries received. As part of their role, the officer will be expected to liaise with colleagues across the organisation to provide advice and assist them in pushing actions forward.

Summary of main responsibilities and duties:
1. To provide advice and support to staff on this project.
2. To undertake risk assessments.
3. To undertake administrative tasks, such as arranging meetings and coordinating attendees for training.
4. To undertake actions identified for Corporate Health and Safety in regards to this project.
5. To undertake under any other activities required to support Corporate Health and Safety in meeting its responsibilities.

 

 

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
