Are you looking for a new opportunity? Acorn By Synergie are looking for an experienced supervisor to work at one of our well-established clients in the Crumlin area.
Job description The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Being in charge of a shift and physically the sole person(s) in charge of the factory during back shifts (phone support available).
- Liaising with the previous supervisor and understand the status of the factory floor prior to starting the shift.
- Leading the production environment by allocating labour, materials, packaging etc. controlling production changeovers (i.e. labels/ colours/ versions).
- Being a point of contact for operators to approach to resolve an initial concern i.e. issues with parts or general concerns on the shop floor.
- Carrying out minor adjustments/ fault finding with telephone support on injection moulding machines, robots, chillers etc.
- Coordinating break times and schedule machine stops accordingly to cover these when needed.
- The overall shift accountability and is also responsible for ensuring a report is documented and communicated to the next shift.
This role is Production line based over a 30,000 sq. ft. site so a fast paced environment should be expected.
Other requirements - Drivers licence and car
- Injection Moulding experience
- FLT licence proffered but not essential
Pay rate and working hours
- £12.27 p/h + £59.50 attendance allowance
- 4on 4off continentals - 2 days, 2 nights
- 12 week training will take place which will include machine operating.
