What you will do in your working day

Apprentice duties will include:

• General maintenance tasks
• Logistics for events and after school activities
• Event car parking and vehicle movement controls
• Responsive actions as needed via helpdesk facility
• Team player for emergency response matters
• H&S related checks and tasks

The training you will be getting

Students will study day release at John Ruskin College.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, candidates will gain a level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship Standard, including Functional Skills Level 2 English and maths if required .

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Successful candidates may have the option to join the RGS group of schools in the event of a fixed term or full-time vacancy occurring or team expansion due to school development and growth.
