Finance Business Partner

Our client is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team, on a contract basis.
The role responsibilities include -
Support with year end closure of accounts, year end accruals, grant accounting and carry forwards; preparation of year end financial reports, government returns and grant returns for the Department; working with budget managers to support forecasting on revenue and capital budgets; provide advice and guidance to Directors and Service Managers so support delivery and monitoring of savings proposals; provide advice and financial analysis to support new service delivery proposals. Public Sector experience essential, experience of working in local government finance desirable.
