Responsibilities:

Manage and optimise Unix systems and databases.

Perform software installations, upgrades, and maintenance.

Analyse system data for capacity planning.

Support complex system landscapes.

Ensure data/media recoverability through backups.

Implement database solutions and enhancements.

Apply patches to maintain system integrity.

Develop and maintain system documentation.

Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.

6+ years of experience in Unix systems administration.

Proficiency in Unix-based database technologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
