Job Title: Home Manager
Location: Canterbury
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Benefits: 28 days of annual leave, including bank holidays

About Us:
Amber Mace are recruiting on behalf of a small residential home dedicated to providing high-quality care for Elderly individuals. Their mission is to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where residents can thrive and lead fulfilling lives.
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Home Manager to lead the dedicated team in providing exceptional care and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care management, a genuine passion for improving the lives of others, and the ability to create a nurturing and empowering atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Leadership and Management:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential care home.
• Provide effective leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

2.Quality of Care:
• Implement and monitor care plans to meet the individual needs of residents.
• Conduct regular assessments to ensure the delivery of person-cantered care.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.

3.Staff Development:
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, promoting continuous professional development.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

4.Resident and Family Engagement:
• Build strong relationships with residents and their families to understand and address their concerns and preferences.
• Organize and oversee activities that enhance the well-being of residents.

5.Budget Management:
• Manage the financial aspects of the home, including budgeting and cost control.
• Ensure resources are utilized efficiently to provide quality care.

6.Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Home Manager within a residential care setting.
• Relevant qualification in health and social care (NVQ Level 5 or equivalent).
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards.
