Job Description
Salary - £12.50 - £14.00 per hour
Based at The Learning Experience in Leatherhead
Part Time - Ideally 25 hours per week (5 Hours per day)
The Business Manager is a multifaceted role where you will be supporting the nursery Centre Director with the day-to-day operation of the nursery in relation to business administration tasks, this includes but is not limited to:
- Building and communicating weekly staff schedules
- Forecasting future enrolments and leading on increasing occupancy levels
- Supporting with the processing of payroll
- Ensuring parent billings, and collections are accurate and precise
- Assisting in the preparation for OFSTED inspections
- Leading on Data Protection for GDPR for the setting
- Alongside the Centre Director conducting team meetings
- Support Centre Director with Health and Safety tasks
- Covering rooms across lunchtimes and staff absence
- Working with the TLE marketing team to execute marketing brand campaigns
- Effectively using social media channels for parent engagement and retention
- Actively work on raising the centre profile within the local area
- Create new relationships with members of the community and businesses
- Working with Centre Director to ensure parent events are planned accordingly
- Nurturing leads through scheduling and conducting tours; follows up with potential families to secure enrolment
- Maintaining the lead tracking portal and customer database
- Coordination of the registration process and maintains customer and employee information in setting systems
- Promote the nursery to existing families; and new perspectives in order to support retention, reduce attrition and grow the occupancy levels at the nursery
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines from Ofsted
- Attend staff meetings; and work with the Senior Leadership Team at the nursery to plan staff meetings and staff training
Qualifications
Very strong admin and customer service experience
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication at all levels
Attend training sessions, for both mandatory requirements and continuous professional development
Ideally a background in education or working with children
