Position Title: Bookkeeper
Are you ready to join a forward-thinking team in the heart of Newport, South Wales? We're seeking a skilled Bookkeeper/Management Accountant to elevate our Business Services department to new heights. Reporting directly to the Business Services Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of over 30 clients, utilizing cutting-edge software and your expert analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Efficient Data Management: From posting invoices to reconciling bank statements, you'll ensure accurate financial records for our clients both onsite and in-office.
VAT Mastery: Become a VAT wizard as you meticulously prepare and submit VAT Returns, maintaining compliance and maximizing efficiency.
Assist in Accounts Preparation: Your keen eye for detail and financial acumen will be instrumental in supporting the preparation of comprehensive accounts.
Responsive Support: Address client queries promptly and professionally, providing tailored solutions and fostering lasting relationships.
Software Expertise: Leverage your expertise in Xero, with additional proficiency in Sage and QuickBooks, to streamline processes and deliver exceptional results.
Autonomous Efficiency: Thrive in an environment where initiative and independence are encouraged, demonstrating your ability to excel with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Xero Mastery: A strong foundation in Xero is essential for success in this role, while experience with Sage Line 50 and QuickBooks is highly desirable.
Reconciliation Expertise: Demonstrate your ability to reconcile all control accounts flawlessly, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial reporting.
Client-Centric Approach: Engage with clients proactively, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
