SEMH Teaching Assistant - Oldham OL9

Purpose of the job
To work in partnership with the SEMH Manager to support Student's needs and their learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice and school policies and procedures. Have particular and specific responsibility for SEMH Pupils which supports the SEMH Provision.

Job Requirements
- Experience of working across the key stages
- Social sciences graduate would be desirable for this role
- DBS registered or willing to apply

Main Duties and responsibilities
- Develop appropriate positive and supportive relationships with pupils
- structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil needs
- Prepare, maintain and use equipment/resources required to meet the lesson plans/relevant learning activity and assist pupils in their use
- To understand and apply school policies in relation to health, safety and welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
