Valuation Surveyor
Role - Commercial Valuation Surveyor
Locations available - Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Sheffield
Salary - £50,000 - £60,000
Joshua Robert are working with a successful commecial and residentiial agency practice who offer their client base a full, 360 service including lettings, sales, property acquisitions, lease advisory and formal valuationsare seeking an experienced commercial valuation surveyor. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of valuations, spanning both residential and commercial sectors in a fast-paced environment but with transparent rewards for the successful candidate.
Role Duties
• To undertake valuations of commercial and residential properties for Loan Security and other purposes
• Attend site inspections and take accurate measurements of sites and buildings
• Apply expert knowledge and awareness of the local property market
• Assemble property information including Rateable Value, EPC rating, planning history etc
• Review occupational leases and assess their impact on value
• Compile long form and short form valuation reports
• Work with the Valuation Directors to develop client relationships
Skills & Qualifications
• MRICS Qualified
• Highly numerate and proficient in MS Office packages and databases
• Good report writing skills and attention to detail
• A sound understanding of the various markets across the Midlands
• Valid driving licence and access to a car
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Must be able to work to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
