P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Junior Project Assistant to join their team based in Gorleston-on-Sea on a full-time permanent basis.
Role Summary:
- To support the project management team to meet project deadlines; deliver accurate and high-quality project related documentation.
- To support the project engineering team as required.
- To support operations with documentation for standard orders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers with project documentation, including its preparation and submission to document control team.
- Support Project Engineers as required including preparation of documentation, scanning and filing of documentation, assisting inspections and testing.
- Issue, revision, control and maintenance of project job packs with all related documentation.
- Completion of installers declarations including all associated documentation.
- Photographing of project equipment prior to release for packing.
- Assist operations to meet internal testing deadlines and with documentation for standard orders.
- Uploading of bill of materials to the MRP company system.
- Fulfil all job responsibilities in accordance with organisational procedures.
- The role is expected to involve periodical overtime working to cope with increased workloads during busy periods. Whilst this is usually kept to a minimum it may involve some weekday and/or weekend overtime.
- This job description needs to be considered in the wider context of a developing and diverse manufacturing organisation.
- All job roles will be expected to work as part of an overall organisation team, therefore the duties described will need to be reasonably adapted to meet the needs of the organisation.
- Training will be given as required as part of the work process.
Person Specification:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and on project teams.
- Attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, particularly in Excel.
- A pro-active approach to role tasks.
- An ability to take a logical approach to role tasks.
- Experience working in an office environment. (Desirable)
- Knowledge of DC/AC electrical systems. (Desirable)
