A leading supplier of in-house manufactured parts, servicing the engineering and construction industries. It is a great time to join the company in their manufacturing department as they have exciting growth plans.
Your new role
As a skilled CNC Lathe Setter/Programmer you will be required to set and operate a 3 axis Doosan CNC Lathe / Mill Turn to produce precision machined parts. You will create new/edit existing programmes on Fanuc controls, operate other toolroom machinery as required (e.g., bandsaw, forklift, manual lathe, manual mill, linisher.) You will adhere to all health and safety requirements and maintaining a clean and safe working environment and accurately read and interpret engineering drawings. You will also use appropriate measuring equipment accurately for quality inspection of turned parts.
Mon - Thurs 8am - 2pm and Fr until 2pm
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role, CNC lathe experience, using Fanuc controls. Have the ability to edit programmes on CNC lathes. A good understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and have a high level of numeracy and literacy skills. Excellent timekeeping and attendance record essential.
