Job Description
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute the company's overall strategy to achieve business objectives and sustainable growth.
- Provide visionary leadership to all departments, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Market Expansion: - Identify and capitalise on market trends, opportunities, and potential partnerships to expand the company's footprint in the UK and abroad.
- Leverage online marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement.
Operational Excellence: - Oversee operational efficiency, ensuring seamless import processes, inventory management, and distribution.
- Implement best practices to optimise supply chain logistics and enhance overall operational performance.
- Drive financial success through effective budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Monitor key financial metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Stakeholder Relations: - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and regulatory bodies
The Successful Applicant
- You will currently be in a Managing Director role selling FMCG products into the UK retailer market, knowledge of the top grocers, discounter channel and online essential
- We seek candidates who have grown through the sales channel and have previously been NAMs/NACs/Sales Directors before currently sitting as Managing Director
- You will have strong knowledge of importing products
- Candidates who have worked with high volume, low margin products or retailers of interest
- Candidates will be based at the UK headquarters in the North of England
- Experience of preparing a business for sale would be of particular interest
