Job description
Kingdown School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Pastoral Administrator to provide administrative and organisational support to our Pastoral team and help to ensure the welfare of our students.
Salary: £11.98 per hour (£23,114 pro rata per annum). Contract: Fixed Term (until 31 March 2025). Working Hours: Part Time (37 hours per week, 39 weeks, includes Teacher Training Days).
We are a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school and sixth form, educating young people between the ages of 11 and 18 years. We have a strong reputation in the local community and beyond, built on an unswerving focus on the quality of teaching and learning and great pastoral care. Ranked in the top 10 secondary schools in Wiltshire, our school is located in the charming garrison town of Warminster, with excellent links to Salisbury, Bath, Bristol and the South-West. We are an academy under Acorn Education Trust, which provides exciting opportunities to collaborate and improve local education.
Responsible for gathering, recording and processing a broad spectrum of data for our school and sixth form students in connection with behaviour and attendance, you will have a good eye for detail as well as excellent office and communication skills. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and must be comfortable liaising with parents and external agencies in support of pastoral care students and will be able to ensure confidentiality at all times.
