Job description

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Strategic Property team within Staffordshire County Council. As Property Finance and Performance Manager you will report on team and project expenditure and performance, work with project managers and service areas to develop cost models that include lifecycle costs, maximise efficiency and utilisation to achieve best value.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in cost modelling, monitoring project budgets, performance management related to property, cost reduction opportunities and whole life costings. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of public sector funding opportunities such as One Public Estate, and experience of using a range of IT packages.

The role will be responsible for finance and performance within the strategic property team, providing a comprehensive approach to monitor, measure, analyse and manage finances and performance to achieve the objectives of the organisation.

The minimum requirement for this post is educated to degree level with significant experience in financial and performance management in a property team. The minimum requirements are set out in the Job Description and Personal Specifications of the post.
