Job description
Job title: Retail Warehouse Assistant
Reports to: Retail Supervisor
Location: American Express Community Stadium, Brighton
Hours per week: 37.5 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days on a rota, including matchday, weekends and some evenings
Contract: Permanent
Roles and responsibilities
• To unload and transport deliveries to the retail stockroom in a safe and secure manner.
• To accurately check deliveries and report and losses/damaged to Head of Retail and/or Retail Buyer.
• To book in deliveries against stock count and delivering notes using stock scanners and RSS Backoffice.
• To transport (driving fleet vehicle) and unload stock to offsite storage sites.
• To pick, transport and transfer stock to pop-up shops.
• To review stock levels for daily end-of-day shop floor replenishment.
• To be responsible for replenishing main stockroom bin locations, with stock from other storage locations (to include the transfer of goods on scanners).
• To pick stock for matchday store replenishment
• To pick stock for online orders
• To print names and numbers on shirts for online orders
• To pack online orders during peak times
• To ensure all stock is barcoded and retail ready.
• To ensure that the club’s health and safety policy is adhered to.
• To manage retail waste and the recycling of cardboard and other materials such as wooden pallets, plastics etc.
• To assist the wider team when required (including working in the superstore) as requested by the Head of retail, Retail Buyer and/or Retail Supervisor.
General duties and accountabilities
• To support Brighton & Hove Albion and Albion in the Community in their aims and objectives at all times.
• To ensure compliance with all relevant club policies, including health and safety policies.
• To ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements.
• To build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally, maintaining a professional persona at all times when representing AITC and Brighton & Hove Albion.
• To keep confidential any information gained regarding the charity, club and its personnel.
• To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times.
• To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time
