Lovely opportunity to join a highly regarded Private Client Tax team in West London in a Trusts focused role.
The day to day covers the preparation of Trust accounts as well as the associated tax compliance, including tax returns and repayment claims. (There is a separate team who support the wider department with the trust administration). The work can be complex and will include involvement with property and share portfolios, discretionary and life interest trusts in estates, family wealth management, and also general tax and accounting advice on other client matters. The role will require an excellent understanding of the tax treatment of estates, related trusts and individuals. You will also work closely with the wider Private Client planning team to ensure a holistic service to clients. The client base is broad in nature and includes a variety of HNWIs and estates, some of which have an offshore element.
Ideally you will be ACA, CTA or STEP qualified with relevant trusts / tax experience gained in practice.
You will be reporting directly to a Partner in this very friendly team. This is a firm that very much focuses on the ongoing training and development of its staff. They have fully embraced hybrid working and are happy for their employees to work flexibly to suit their needs, with most people either working 2 or 3 days in the office.
