Mental Health Legislation and policy including the Care Programme Approach. Awareness of D o H guidance on issues relating to mental health Desirable: Understanding the organisational framework in which the service operates Awareness of Care clustering Process Understanding of Recovery concept Skills/Experience: Essential: Working in a multi-disciplinary team Experience of working with a multi-racial client group in a multi-racial setting Knowledge of treatment and support options for this client group Ability to prioritise workload Ability to manage and deal effectively with crisis Competent with I.T Enthusiasm for working with people in their own homes Interest/Motivation to the job: Essential: Recovery focused Service user involvement Team working Commitment / Genuine interest of client group within area of specialty Desirable: Ability to work autonomously Knowledge of relevant research
