Job description
We are seeking an ambitious individual to work with a leading property management business backed by an exciting investment group with state-of-the-art offices in Borehamwood. Due to exceeding growth plans, our client is now looking for a Talent Advisor.
The Talent Advisor’s principal responsibility is to provide support & advice in all aspects related to employee relations & the employee life cycle. The ability to build strong relationships will be critical to the success of this role & as the Talent Advisor you will provide guidance, advice, & direction to Managers across the business in all matters of the Employee Lifecycle, ensuring each aspect is managed diligently & in adherence to compliance & employment law.
This is a pivotal role within the business & the successful candidate will have proven experience as a generalist in all human resource areas such as employee engagement, performance improvement, recruitment, TUPE, learning & development, disciplinary processes, & compliance.
Personality & conviction in your approach will be just as important as being able to demonstrate your experience & to be successful in this role you will need to be resilient, driven, positive & focused on achieving results.
The Talent Advisor is part of a Talent Team & will assist with the Talent Teams’ core objectives, which are:

To consistently promote learning, development, training, & a growth mindset.
To diligently manage the employee salaries & monthly payroll.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee Engagement & Culture
Manage & promote employee well-being & mental health initiatives & activities across the business.
Manage & promote employee engagement & site interaction initiatives & activities across the business.
Combine creative & yet innovative approaches to encourage staff retention & engagement.
Oversee & manage the launch of a tiered benefits system.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
Manage disciplinary processes, ER cases, & paperwork to support Line Managers.
Ensure the Employee Handbook & Employee Policies are regularly reviewed & updated.
Review & update employment contracts when required.
Create & monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure standards are written, delivered, & followed by all employees across the business.
Proactively support Line Managers by recommending best practices & approaches in disciplinary & performance-related issues.
Ensure consistency in performance-related conversations & processes, such as 1-2-1’s, PIP’s & Appraisals.
Learning, Development & Training
Provide management & implementation of the company LMS platform.
Organise training opportunities & workshops, strategically rolling out L&D projects.
Provide management & implementation of the induction process across the business.
Conduct training needs analysis for job roles across the business & assist in raising standards.
Create training-needs-analysis for staff being promoted to new roles & undergoing career progression.
Promote a culture of continuous professional development across the business.
Ad-Hoc
Assist with the monthly payroll when needed.
Assist with reporting (attrition, absence, etc.), flagging issues & reporting findings when needed.
Participating in ad hoc projects with the team.
Assist with onboarding tasks when needed (checking right to work & sending contracts/offer letters).
Assist with benefits management, such as cycle to work & cashback schemes.
