Description

I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join a client of mine in the tech for good industry. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in utilizing your expertise in data analysis and machine learning techniques to provide valuable insights and drive data-driven decisions that will improve the overall efficiency of the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to develop innovative solutions that leverage advanced analytics and data science.

Responsibilities

· Apply advanced statistical modeling techniques to analyze large datasets and develop predictive models to optimize and improve operational efficiency.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key questions and areas for data analysis and develop customized solutions to address specific challenges.

· Lead end-to-end data science projects, including data extraction, cleansing, exploration, modeling, and deployment of models into production.

· Design and develop machine learning algorithms to identify patterns and trends in patient data and provide recommendations for personalized treatment plans.

· Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data science models with existing systems and databases.

· Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data science practice.

· Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists and analysts to foster their professional growth.

Requirements

· Strong expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling.

· Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with SQL and other database technologies.

· Solid understanding of data visualization techniques and tools, and ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

· Experience with data mining and data preprocessing techniques.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex datasets.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
