Job description
A lovely Primary School located in the East of Cardiff are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. The role involves providing additional academic support and maintaining engagement for a small group of pupils within a KS2 class.
A Learning Support Assistant (LSAs) is imperative to the academic development and well-being to pupils by providing individualised assistance and catering to the unique learning needs of each pupil. This targeted support helps bridge the gaps in understanding and promotes academic development.
Requirements to be considered for this position as a Learning Support Assistant:
* Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant within a primary school environment,
* It is desirable to have 1-1 experience working with a child who has additional needs.
* An enhanced DBS check and registration with the EWC (or be willing to apply).
* Able to commute to the school in Cardiff with ease
About the role:
Pay: £380 per week – negotiable dependent on experience & qualifications
Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)
Location: Cardiff
