Salary Range: Soulbury 4 to 7 (plus up to 2 SPA) £58,348 - £62,540 pro-rata, per annum
Work Location: Elizabeth II Court, Winchester (Hybrid Working)
Hours per week: 22.20
Contract Type: Temporary (initially for 1 year)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive Virtual School team that are dedicated to providing a high-quality service to children and young people, to improve educational experiences and outcomes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and collaborative educational psychologist with a background in applying psychology to meet the needs of vulnerable children and young people. This will have equipped you with strong skills in psychological consultation, assessment, intervention, research, team working and the delivery of training. We are wanting an EP who has an interest in trauma-informed practice, who understands the application and evidence for a focus on nurture in mainstream schools to improve attendance and young people’s engagement with learning. The successful applicant will work within our well-established and highly regarded Virtual School to provide a range of psychological services for the Virtual School, school staff, social workers, carers and wider professionals to ensure there is unwavering focus on the achievement, inclusion and success of all our children. You will be joining an outstanding Children’s Service which is committed and successful in meeting the needs of vulnerable children. You will have a wide range of opportunities to work closely with colleagues across the Education and Inclusion and Children and Families Branch, including our Hampshire Educational Psychology Service. You will have access to professional supervision and continuing professional development opportunities.
