We have a great opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to join our team. You need to be self motivated, driven, and focussed on ensuring the delivery of a varied portfolio of digital projects and ongoing retainers for our Carbon Six Digital portfolio.

Salary for this role is £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience (pro-rated for part-time).

Purpose of the role

The Digital Project Manager is the hub of our delivery function, accountable for ensuring their projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to acceptable levels of quality within our agreed processes.

You will work with senior leaders in the agency in the early stages of projects to estimate and scope the work, and with internal and external (contract) resources to manage the design and scheduling of the project. You will also contribute to the business analysis and requirements gathering of projects.

In the later stages of the project you will drive the project forward, monitor and report on progress, unblock issues, and manage risks.

You will be the champion for your projects throughout the lifecycle to ensure that they deliver on time and on budget.

Duties and responsibilities

• Accountable for the Project Management of delivery projects from initial scoping through to implementation and warranty period to agreed requirements and timescales using the available internal and external resources;
• Responsible for undertaking business analysis and requirements definition;
• May be responsible for undertaking some systems design activities in conjunction with the project’s Design Lead;
• Accountable for the change and release management of project deliverables;
• Responsible for test planning and tracking, and may undertake some testing activities;
• Accountable for ensuring that all non-Development assets, such as images and content are available in a timely manner.
• May undertake content management activities using Umbraco, Hubspot or Wordpress (training provided);
• Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the project team members, clients and suppliers;
• Accountable for the resolution of support requests raised during the initial warranty period of any new product shipped;
• Be part of the team who own all Project Management processes; working with all relevant team members to define, agree and maintain these processes, and monitoring the effectiveness of these processes and implementing continuous improvements;
• Ensure that Project Management processes are used consistently, and implement continuous improvement to those processes;
• Develop and maintain the project library, filing, recording and reporting systems;
• Implement appropriate configuration management procedures;
• Produce appropriate reports including project summary reports;
• Maintain systems for recording project costs;
• Advise and assist project team members in the application of project procedures, disciplines and recording and reporting standards;
• Maintain risk and issue logs and change control records;
• Responsible for ensuring the portfolio resource plan is maintained;
• Contribute to the learning and development of team members.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Required qualifications: Level 3 (A-Level equivalent)
• Desired qualifications: Level 6 (Degree qualification) in a management, marketing or a computing related subject

Experience

• Required experience: 3 years experience of project management in an IT discipline
• Desired experience: 3 years experience of project management in a Digital Agency environment

Benefits

This is a UK-based remote working role. You will be expected to attend on-site team meetings up to six times per year across the UK at our attractions clients, in addition to ad hoc meetings in line with the requirements of your role.

This is a Full Time role (40-hours per week). We will consider applications for Part-Time working, with a minimum of 30-hours per week in most circumstances, although we will be flexible where you can make a reasonable case for reduced hours, such as childcare responsibilities, health constraints or disability.
