Job description

Our client, a global music company, is seeking an UK Copyrights Administrator who is passionate about music and has a solid grounding in publishing and copyright administration. 
Key responsibilities will include:
•    Supporting with the registration of all locally signed agreements and associated copyrights. 
•    Maintaining the administration and data integrity of the company’s back catalogue. 
•    Monitoring all new release and chart activity both digital and physical. 
•    Assisting the internal licencing and external licencing partners with administration. 
•    Ensuring the company’s rights are upheld and correct and meet song registration and royalty reporting obligations. 
•    Monitoring ongoing registration statuses to include using rejections and validation report.
•    Maintaining accurate data across the company’s bespoke database with client information, deals, and works. 
•    Managing queries and communicating with PRS, ICE, and global affiliate offices. 
•    Maintaining process managements in collaboration with the internal teams to update spreadsheets, Monday boards, and team inboxes. 
•    Overseeing weekly compilations of new UK releases and chart activity. 
•    Contributing to current processes to suggest optimisations. 
•    Assisting with cue sheet registrations. 
•    Aiding with agreement disputes, error reviews, and suspense reviews where needed. 
Requirements:
•    Working understanding of music publishing and copyright administration. 
•    Previous experience within the publishing industry is advantageous. 
•    Confident to make recommendations on process improvements. 
•    Proven track record with managing tasks, workloads effectively, and meet deadlines. 
•    Flexible and proactive approach, comfortable working in a changing environment. 
•    Motivated to achieve business objectives. 
•    Passion for music and songwriting. 
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Able to liaise and communicate in a calm manner and a personable approach. 
•    Capable of working well within a team and autonomously. 
•    Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite. 
•    Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
