Exciting new career opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer, Design Engineer or Quality Engineer with technical knowledge of electronic or electromechanical products to develop their career in Project Management. Our client is an established global company providing a wide portfolio of specialist sensing and monitoring systems that ensure vehicle safety. This challenging role requires a positive, proactive approach and the ability to manage and facilitate multiple technical NPI projects. Your key responsibilities as Project Manager will include: -- Develop and apply project management tools & techniques to facilitate the on-time delivery of projects -- Support the companys New Product Introduction process and other Project support activities. -- Develop a standard project management methodology to primarily support the delivery of NPI projects -- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant internal and external stakeholders -- Facilitate project delivery against agreed scope -- Create and maintain relevant project plans and documentation to ensure project progress is understood and team members are aware of project delivery requirements and responsibilities. -- Use appropriate techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule & costs (as applicable). -- Make sure quality standards are met Your Profile: -- Engineering qualification (degree qualified or of graduate calibre) -- Experience working within a technical or engineering NPI environment with knowledge of electronics / electro-mechanical products -- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. -- Self-motivated and able to work independently -- Ability to multi-task and plan priorities within a fast- moving environment. -- Willingness to learn and to adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
