Job description
We are excited to announce the opening for a Head of Music teacher position in Ipswich.
As the Head of Music, you will have the opportunity to teach across key stage 3, 4 and 5 and lead the department, this role would suit someone who is already an experienced head of department or someone looking for their first leadership role.
We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher with QTS and also has an up-to-date knowledge of the UK curriculum and a passion for teaching at the highest standards. You will be responsible for delivering fun, engaging and challenging lessons to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential in music. You will be in charge of marking and assessing pupils' work and effectively managing their progress.
You will be expected to lead the department and effectively communicate with pupils, parents and other staff members whilst being committed to the school’s objectives and ethos.
