Our client:

Is a digital practice and their managing director is often found speaking at the Digital Accountancy Show and Accountex.

The role:

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

• Be charge of conducting AML (Anti Money Laundering Checks) on all of our clients as part of our due diligence and obligations as an acting accountancy body.
• Be in charge of new client onboarding and setting new clients up and notifying colleagues of whom will be their new account manager.
• Set up new Dext (invoice/receipt and sales database) and Xero (bookkeeping software) accounts for new clients that we take on, if they require it.
• Answer the office phones and then forward them onto the necessary colleague.
• Set up and input clients info into our practice management software and into our accountancy software TaxCalc and then notify our accountants of the new clients.
• Type up client bank statements into their Xero account and make sure that the Bank Statements match the Xero figure.
• Scan in and saving letters received from HMRC on behalf of our clients and forward them onto our clients and their account managers.
• Maintain and make changes to the Company website and the practice management software when required e.g. adding to Services to the system such as VAT, Payroll etc.

The training you will receive:

AAT Level 2 Accounts qualification

• All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes    
• Functional skills in English & maths if required
