Platinum Recruitment is working with a well-established, local, privately owned healthcare group that owns 8 residential and nursing homes. This vacancy is for one of their care homes near Gosport.

Salary : £50,000 - £60,000

What's involved?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Home Manager who is RGN qualified for this care home in Gosport where you will be responsible for the overall management of this 26-bed care home, ensuring that you and the team provide high-quality care to residents. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the care home, including:

• Recruiting, training, and managing 20 members of staff - usually 7-8 on shift.
• Ensuring that the care provided meets the required standards
• Handling complaints from residents and their families
• To uphold financial and budgetary control within the home.
• To act in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of professional conduct and Contemplation policies and procedures.
• Communicating with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on a regular basis.

What do you need?

• Active NMC Pin
• RGN Qualified
• Must have management experience
• NVQ Level 5 is preferred
• Dementia and care home experience is preferred
• Able to complete a fully enhanced DBS check
