A successful business based in North Blackpool are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager the role will be varied working on both purchase / sales ledgers and will a great opportunity for AAT studiers who are looking for a new challenge.

Duties will include :

• Accurately posting invoices received to the purchase ledger
• Creating new supplier accounts
• Managing purchase orders
• Completion of remittances for review
• Generation of payment report
• Generation of payment run
• Allocation of payments
• Supplier statement reconciliation, resolving any anomalies identified in a courteous and timely manner

The successful candidate will have strong Excel skills and also be confident using SAGE 50. You can expect 25 days holiday as well as performance related bonus.
