Freelance Project Manager
Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Start: Early/Mid March 2024
£350 per shift
Duration: 3 years
Sector: Ground Engineering, Groundworks, Roads & Sewers

My Client are a large National Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor with over £100m annual turnover. Due to increased workload, they have a requirement for a Freelance Project Manager from a Groundworks Background.

The ideal candidate will come from a Civils and Groundworks background and ran large scale Residential Groundworks, Roads and Sewers Schemes.

Reporting to a Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of residential groundworks schemes in the Yorkshire region.
• Day to day running and management of a large site with support from visiting CM
• SM and Foreman as Direct Reports
• Fully responsible for timely delivery of works within budget
• Ensuring that the highest levels of QA and H&S are maintain throughout the lifecycle of project
• Produce reports and forecasts both weekly and monthly
• Produce short term lookaheads
• Attend meetings
• Client liaison

In addition to previous experience running large scale residential groundworks projects, the successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified, from an engineering background and hold CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid certificates.
