Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, trend-driven Designer / Product Developer to join a fast-paced and fast-growing supplier and brand house. Working across Men’s & Women’s Denim & Fleece Suppliers.  Multi Product with a focus on men’s and boy’s fleece / jersey.
Key accounts include JDSPORTS and FOOTASYLUM.

Ideally someone who has design capability while having good organisational and communication skills so they can liaise with several brands / customers on development / sampling and brand development.

The Role:

• Be the point of contact for design / development for a selection of key brands / retailers.
• Customer liaison / meetings to discuss requirements / take briefs.
• Create mood boards / season trends for the key brands / retailers.
• Carry out design work for and on behalf of key brands / retailers and inhouse brands.
• Creating tech packs to issue sample requests to suppliers.
• Review tech packs from customers and create briefs for suppliers.
• Chasing in samples from suppliers
• Review samples / lab dips in conjunction with design, tech and account managers.
• Review comments with brand / retailer / internally and issue to suppliers.

Requirements:

• Trend analysis
• Denim and woven knowledge would be good, not ideal.
• Strong organisational skills
• Proficient with Illustrator / Corel
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage time / varied workload.
• Work to deadlines
• Good communication skills
