The role
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Pre-Assessment Team.
This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients, consultants and all hospital departments. We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative and the ability to work within a team. You must be computer literate â experience with Word and Outlook being essential. Previous use of an Electronic Patient Record system would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Liaising with patients by phone & letter
Booking appointments
Liaising with consultants and clinical team (pre-assessment nurses)
Completing all administrative tasks of the department
What you will bring with you
Excellent organisational skills
An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills â written and oral
An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & Excel
The ability to work within a team
The ability to time-manage
Experience using a Patient Administration System would an advantage
