Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and part of payroll related activities.
Prepare and analyse financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to the senior leadership. Conduct regular financial reviews to ensure compliance with accounting principles and policies. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with the top management team to develop accurate financial plans. Coordinate and prepare documentation for audits and tax filings, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and requirements. Streamline and optimise accounting procedures, seeking opportunities for process improvements and automation. Mentor and support junior team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification is a plus.
Proven experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably but not necessarily within the retail or luxury goods industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
