Job description
We at Hays are looking to fill a job within a central primary school in Doncaster. The job is based within Year 3, supporting the existing team on a fixed term basis until the end of the school year.
Your new school The school is a primary school with 228 children on roll, with around 30 per class. They put children at the heart of everything, developing their learning journey in a caring environment. They have high aspirations for the children at the school, setting high expectations, beginning with effective teaching and learning. They expect all staff, pupils and parents to behave in a way that supports respect and understanding for all, creating strong links between the home and school. They seek to nurture each child, celebrating the special gifts that make each child unique.
Your new role You will be required to deliver the full curriculum, adhering to the high standards that the school set. They pride themselves on their behaviour management, ensuring that all children are clear on the expectations set by the school. The successful candidate will be supported by the senior leadership team as well as curriculum leads to deliver the learning required. You will be expected to be an integral member of staff, fulfilling the role of a class teacher. This will include planning, marking and all other aspects of being a full time class teacher.
What you\'ll need to succeed - You will be a qualified teacher with experience of teaching in a primary school, ideally in Key Stage 2.
- You will have worked within a school environment for at least 40 days in the last two years.
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
