Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain blueberry harvesting machinery, including optical colour sorter and packaging line, to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
- Set up and configure machinery according to specific harvesting requirements and product standards.
- Act as the resident "Guru" of the blueberry harvesting machinery, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Implement strategies to reduce waste in the harvesting process, with a target of reducing waste by 30%.
- Collaborate with support staff and management to coordinate maintenance schedules, spare parts inventory, and necessary repairs or upgrades.
