Junior Underwriter
North West London
Our client is a leading Real-Estate financing business who currently seeking a Junior Underwriter to join their team. Our client is committed to providing excellent service to their clients and are looking for a candidate who will share those values.
They are a growing company who are seeking candidates who are committed to developing their skills and experience within the real-estate industry.
This position could also suit a recent Graduate with some exposure within the property/real-estate industries.
Duties include:
• Handling and assessing affordability of potential borrowers affordability
• Underwriting loans to mitigate risk from initial contact through to practical loan completion
• Analysing the UK real estate market and considering appetite for future lending
• Handling post loan matters from development funding to granting of leases
• Managing live loan portfolio to ensure performance continues throughout term
Skills and experience required:
• Strong numerical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office (Particularly Excel)
• Strong attention to detail
• Work experience within property or UK real estate
